KOLKATA, March 9, 2026 – The Westin, Rajarhat, became a hub of excellence on 6th March evening as the Times Power Icons East – 2026, an initiative by Optimal Media Solutions, The Times of India; celebrated the region’s most impactful leaders. Held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the event brought together a distinguished gathering of industrialists, diplomats, and cultural icons to honor those who have redefined success across various sectors. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and an opening speech that highlighted the grit and innovation driving Eastern India’s growth.
The evening was marked by a strong international presence, reflecting Kolkata’s growing global importance. High-ranking officials, including the Consul General and directors from the embassies of France, Britain, Germany, and Thailand, graced the occasion.
