SATTE 2026, South Asia’s leading B2B travel and tourism exhibition, held from 25–27 February 2026 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), New Delhi, witnessed a strong and strategic presence from the Department of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra.
Organised by Informa Markets, the 32nd edition of SATTE brought together exhibitors and buyers from over 50 countries and 28 State Tourism Boards, offering a powerful platform for destination promotion, business expansion, and global networking.

The Maharashtra Pavilion was officially inaugurated by the State’s tourism delegation, underlining Maharashtra’s focused efforts to strengthen its national and international tourism footprint. The delegation was led by Shri Santosh Jadhav, Joint Director, Directorate of Tourism ; Shri Chandrashekhar Jaiswal, General Manager, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC); and Shri Vijay Jadhav, Deputy Director (DoT). Accompanying them were prominent hoteliers, tour operators, heritage stakeholders, and destination management professionals who actively participated in structured B2B meetings and strategic networking sessions throughout the exhibition.
The Pavilion featured immersive LED audio-visual presentations and curated business engagements, showcasing Maharashtra’s diverse tourism landscape — from the historic sea and hill forts associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the scenic Konkan coastline to wildlife circuits, pilgrimage destinations, vibrant urban hubs, and emerging MICE opportunities.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Santosh Jadhav, Joint Director, Directorate of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra, stated, “SATTE serves as a vital platform for Maharashtra Tourism to engage directly with the travel trade and showcase the State’s truly ‘Unlimited’ tourism potential. Through our participation, we aim to strengthen partnerships, promote our diverse destination portfolio, and position Maharashtra as a year-round, multi-experiential tourism hub for both domestic and international travellers.”
In addition to its exhibition presence, Maharashtra Tourism hosted an exclusive Delhi Roadshow, further amplifying its outreach to the northern India travel trade. The evening commenced with captivating cultural performances reflecting Maharashtra’s rich traditions, followed by insightful presentations highlighting the State’s diverse tourism experiences across heritage, wildlife, coastal, spiritual, experiential, and MICE segments.

The roadshow facilitated productive B2B interactions between Maharashtra stakeholders and members of the Delhi travel trade fraternity, fostering meaningful business engagements and strengthening long-term industry partnerships. The programme concluded with a networking dinner, offering an ideal platform for continued dialogue and relationship building.

Maharashtra’s participation at SATTE 2026, complemented by the successful Delhi Roadshow, reaffirmed the State’s commitment to positioning itself as a dynamic, sustainable, and investment-ready tourism destination. With a strong focus on diversified segments including heritage tourism, eco-tourism, coastal tourism, experiential travel, and MICE tourism, Maharashtra continues to reinforce its vision of being a truly “Unlimited” destination for travellers across the globe.
