Kolkata 2 April 2026: The Department of Management Studies, JIS University organised a two-day International Management Literary Conclave 2026 with the theme “The Entangled Social Fabric: Future Managerial Leadership and Organisational Dynamics Through Quantum Mechanism”.
The conclave delved into contemporary management challenges through the lens of quantum thinking, complexity science, and emerging technological advancements and featured an engaging lineup of keynote addresses, panel discussions, student-led film presentations, case study workshops, and interactive sessions, fostering insightful dialogue and innovative perspectives on the future of management and leadership.

The two-day programme witnessed the presence of several eminent dignitaries, including Shri Atri Bhattacharya, Additional Chief Secretary, Sundarban Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal; Padma Shri Prof. Ajoy Kumar Ray, Director, JIS Institute of Advanced Studies & Research (JISIASR); Shri Shiv Siddhant Kaul, Managing Director, Nicco Engineering Services Ltd. and Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Kolkata; , Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group and Chancellor, JIS University; Prof. (Dr.) Neeraj Saxena, Pro Chancellor, JIS University; Prof. (Dr.) Pralay Ganguly, Principal, GNIHM; Dr. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology and Senior Director, Kalyan Bharti Trust; Shri Barun Chanda, noted actor and author; Dr. Debanjan Chakrabarti, Director, British Council (East and Northeast India); Shri Rhitobrata Bhattacharya, eminent journalist; Smt. A key highlight of the conclave was “Kalpana Katha ‘o’ Kahini II,” which featured student-led film presentations on the theme “Science, Religion and its Impact on Business Management,” complemented by engaging workshops and thought-provoking discussions. The conclave concluded with a valedictory session, reaffirming JIS Group’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and innovation.
