Priced at INR *1599 plus taxes per person (without alcohol)* and INR 2599 plus taxes per person (with alcohol), the specially curated festive buffet promises a lavish spread that pays homage to Bengal’s rich and diverse gastronomic heritage.

Speaking on the occasion, Amit Kobat, General Manager, The Astor, Kolkata, shares, “Poila Boisakh is a celebration of tradition, togetherness, and flavours that define Bengal. With Boisakhi Bhuribhoj, we aim to bring together authenticity and indulgence in a way that feels both nostalgic and memorable for our guests.”

Thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of a quintessential Bengali feast, the menu takes diners on a nostalgic journey across regions and heirloom recipes. The experience begins with refreshing seasonal coolers like Kancha Aam-er Panna and Gondhoraj Lemongrass Doi-er Ghol, followed by an array of starters including Bagh Bazar-er Lorar Chop, Birbhoom-er Mochar Cutlet, Bhetki Macher Croquettes, and Murg Chakori Kebab, bringing together both vegetarian and non-vegetarian favourites.

The elaborate main course showcases a rich spread of traditional delights—from comforting Bharta, Bata, and Bhaja selections to signature vegetarian preparations like Bori Sukto, Chenar Mahima, and Kodaisuti Dhokar Dalna. Seafood lovers can indulge in classics such as Pabda Macher Tel Jhal, Shorshe Pomfret, and Dhonepata Chingri Malai Curry, while meat lovers are treated to robust flavours of Thakur Barir Bunglow Mangsho and Dhakai Chicken Rizala.

Complementing the meal are staples like Radha Ballavi, Basmati Pulao, and flavourful dals, along with an assortment of pickles and chutneys that elevate the experience. The celebration concludes with an indulgent Mishti Mukh selection featuring Misti Doi, Gondhoraj Sandesh, Baked Mihidana, and Gurer Ice Cream with Nolen Gur.

Adding to the festive spirit, live counters serving Puchka and Papdi Chaat bring an interactive and vibrant touch to the celebration.
