Ruby General Hospital Celebrates 30 Years of Healthcare Excellence

Kolkata, April 24, 2025: Ruby General Hospital marked its 30th anniversary today, highlighting its journey as the first NRI hospital in Eastern India. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Jyoti Basu in 1995, the hospital has grown into a multispecialty hospital with a state-of-the-art Cancer Centre. To commemorate this milestone, Ruby Hospital announced several initiatives, including a free Mental Wellness Clinic and 30,000 preventive examinations for Diabetes and Hypertension. The hospital will also provide annual health check-ups and medical care to 850 destitute and orphan children. Ruby Cancer Centre has recently introduced a advanced radiotherapy machine, Varian TrueBeam, and plans to launch Digital PET Scan in June 2025. These efforts aim to provide quality healthcare at an affordable cost and make a positive impact on the community.
