Windows Production Unveils Shyamoupti Mudli’s Character Poster from ‘Phool Pishi O Edward’
Windows Production dropped the much-awaited character poster of Shyamoupti Mudli today, introducing her as Binita from their upcoming film, ‘Phool Pishi O Edward’.
The poster showcases a striking image of Shyamoupti in traditional bridal attire, holding ‘paan pata’ against a warm, golden backdrop. The film, directed by the acclaimed duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, is slated for a grand theatrical release on May 29, 2026.
For Shyamoupti, this project represents more than just a debut; it is a journey of mentorship. Speaking about her time on set, the actress expressed a deep sense of gratitude for the directors, whom she affectionately refers to as ‘Dada’ and ‘Didi’.
“I always say I am truly blessed that my very first project is with Windows Production House, where there is so much warmth,” Shyamoupti shared. She noted that despite their massive stature in Tollywood, Roy and Mukherjee ensured a grounded and supportive atmosphere for a newcomer. “Dada is just like a friend, and Didi has that ‘big sister’ quality—she’s protective, caring, and explains every part of the work… they created such a comfort zone that I didn’t feel for a single moment that I was sharing the screen with such talented artists”.
With the 25th-anniversary celebrations of the production house in full swing, Phool Pishi O Edward is expected to be a major highlight of their 2026 film slate. The film promises to blend the signature “Windows style” of emotional storytelling with a fresh mystery-drama narrative.
