Fridaay OTT’s BB Bakshi Earns Recognition as Paramita Munsi Wins Best Original Story Writer Award at Redwine Entertainment Present OTT and Fashion Award 2026
BB Bakshi, the female-led Bengali mystery series currently streaming exclusively on Fridaay OTT, has added another achievement to its journey. Writer Paramita Munsi has been honoured with the Best Original Story Writer award at the Redwine Entertainment Present OTT and Fashion Award 2026 for her work on BB Bakshi. Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the series stars Ishaa Saha and Debraj Bhattacharya in the lead roles.
Set in the quiet town of Golappur, BB Bakshi follows Bibi, a sharp-witted female constable who uses her keen intuition and unique problem-solving skills to crack mysterious local cases. While navigating the challenges of her profession, Bibi also manages her personal life and a budding romance with Gopal, bringing together mystery, investigation and human emotions.
The recognition for Paramita Munsi highlights the original story at the heart of BB Bakshi, a narrative led by a strong female protagonist and rooted in an unconventional investigative premise. The series has also received appreciation from audiences for its distinct storytelling and engaging characters.
