A group of youngsters stumble into a cursed village where whispers warn that the sound of music itself can summon death. Shadows deepen around an ancient house, its chandelier swaying above a room where no human is said to reside. The unsettling stillness is broken by fleeting images of a woman’s hand with long nails, hinting at something far from human. Terror grips the village as women stumble upon a lifeless body hanging from a tree — another victim claimed by the chilling cry that echoes in the night: Ei grame Nishi Daake. With haunting imagery and spine-tingling soundscapes, the first look captures the dread and suspense that lies at the heart of the story.
Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, who returns with yet another gripping tale, Nishir Daak is set to release on 17th October 2025 exclusively on hoichoi.
